Welcome to the Guitar Diner, a place to feast on all things guitar.

The Diner is the evolutionary result of a group of guitarists that met on the old Harmony-Central Guitar Forum (HCGF) back in the mid-90's. Originally begun as a college experiment, it careened out of control and acquired a life of its own. The group formed on and off line friendships, jammed together in real life as well as cyberspace, issued several CD compilations of members' musical contributions and became a place to discuss life as well as music.

When HCGF changed formats, one of our members opened The Guitarist Forum, affectionately known as Uncle Bob's Place. After about a year, Bob had other commitments and GF transitioned into the Guitar Diner thanks to the efforts of Dr. Rico and Boomer. Like a herd of buffalo we've all stampeded from one URL to another, dragging our gear with us, picking up strays and new members along the way.
